Relationships between Trusting and Being Trustworthy: Some hypothesis

Trusting and being trustworthy are two sides of the same coin? In this paper we will focus on trust as a special sign of the trustor's trustworthiness after identifying all the other possible signs of it. We also analyze how the trustor's trustful attitude can actually increase the trustee's trustworthiness. We will identify three distinct mental paths which may lead a trustee to being (more) trustworthy in response to a trustor's trust.
