My research areas are the Sociology of Health and Medicine with particular reference to the intersection between technology and health and to all digital ecosystems (social networks, blogs, websites and telematic devices) through which actors build new communities based on communication, shared knowledge and experiences related to their disease or digital tools for caregivers and healthcare professionals. I also deal with digital tools for caregivers and healthcare professionals.
Combined with this, my works focus on Parkinson's disease and behavioral addictions with international collaborations.
