I am Paolo Tommasino and I come from Falciano del Massico, a small city not too far from Naples. Attracted by Biology, Medicine and Mechatronics I studied Biomedical Engineering at Università Campus Bio-Medico of Rome (UCBM) where I recived both Master and Bachelor degrees. From December 2010 till February 2011 I joined the BioRobotics(UCBM) and the LOCEN Labs to work on my Master Thesis titled: "Development and experimental robotic validation of reinforcement learning neurocontrollers".
Currently I have been developing Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning Architectures, Evolutionary Optimization Alghoritms and Dynamic Simulators for the IMCLEVER project. My main ambition is to design a principled neural controller that INTRINSICALLY learns simple motor primitives and then combines them to solve more challenging tasks.
